Bergslagens Rescue Service is a municipal association for rescue services in the municipalities of Karlskoga, Kristinehamn, Filipstad, Degerfors, Hällefors, and Storfors with approximately 200 employees across a total of 8 fire stations.

We are in need of summer substitutes primarily during the summer months of 2026 for the full-time stations in Karlskoga and Kristinehamn.

We are therefore looking for firefighters

Job Responsibilities

Participate in emergency response, preventive work, external training, station duties, training activities, etc.

Educational Requirements

SMO exam (or completed at least two semesters) or 15 weeks of firefighter training (at MSB's school) or completed Grib training for RIB employment or equivalent. Certificates must be attached to the application.

Meritorious

· Previous employment as a firefighter

· Medical training/experience

· C driver's license

Employment

Full-time, fixed-term, during the holiday period (June, July, and August)

The employment begins with an introductory training upon hiring.

Working Hours

Mainly shift work, but daytime work may occur
