About the Position

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an experienced construction blacksmith for an assignment in Stockholm. This position is suitable for you who have good experience in steel constructions, assembly, and welding, and who enjoys working in the field.

About the Position:

• As a construction blacksmith, you will work with the manufacturing, assembly, and repair of steel constructions. This may involve:
• Assembly of beams, steel frames, and adjustments
• Manufacturing and assembly of stairs, railings, and canopies
• Supplementary metalwork and service tasks on existing constructions

The work takes place both in the workshop and on-site with the client, and includes welding, reading blueprints, assembly, as well as simple measurements and adjustments on-site.
Working hours: Monday–Thursday 06:30–15:45, Friday 06:30–14:15

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience in construction blacksmithing or steel constructions
• Can weld (preferably MIG/MAG or stick) and read blueprints independently
• Has experience working with assembly and measurements in the field
• Is meticulous, solution-oriented, and has good teamwork skills
• Has a B driver's license
• Is proficient in Swedish or English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Valid welding certificates
• Hot work / hazardous work
• Lift and/or forklift certification
• Experience in project management or responsibility for assembly teams
