As a project engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and preparing projects within Varberg Energi's electrical area, ensuring that construction is carried out and documented correctly.

We now want to strengthen the department with project engineers who plan new constructions and changes in the network. The permanent position includes a particular focus on resource allocation and planning, while the substitute position lasts for about a year, with the possibility of extension.

As a project engineer, you will among other things:

• Lead projects from start to finish and ensure that the work is carried out according to schedule, budget, and quality, in close collaboration with technicians and operations staff, where you can also act as BAS-P.
• Plan and produce construction documents for electricity distribution in the network (0.4–10 kV), street and lighting installations, as well as signal networks and signal equipment.
• Prepare materials, produce documentation in the NIS system Digpro, and be responsible for cost estimates and quotes for internal and external projects.
• Coordinate and communicate with customers, authorities, contractors, and other operations within Varberg Energi.
• Work with customer connections via the Installer web and ensure that network expansion and technical documentation maintain high quality.

We are looking for someone with experience and competence in design and planning, primarily in the installation of electricity & street lighting. You are used to designing and have experience in planning the expansion of electrical networks. It is beneficial if you have experience in project management and enjoy a role where you can keep the overall project together. We believe you have worked in the dpPower / Digpro system or similar before.

We believe you have an electrical engineering education or a university degree in energy, construction, HVAC, or mechanical engineering. You are used to working independently as well as in a team with other project managers and colleagues.

As a person, you are self-driven, humble, and have an easy time collaborating with others.
