We are now looking for an Accountant who wants to work in a role with overall responsibility, variation, and the opportunity to influence. About the role
As an Accountant with primarily Norwegian responsibility, you will be an important part of the finance team and have overall responsibility for accounting. The role suits you who thrive in independent work, want ownership of the entire financial flow, and appreciate the variation between accounting, reporting, and payroll.
You will be responsible for everything from ongoing bookkeeping to monthly and annual financial statements according to Norwegian regulations, VAT reporting, and communication with authorities. You will also handle payroll for the Norwegian companies and act as a contact person for auditors and external parties in Norway.
You will work closely with management and become a key person in ensuring quality, developing routines, and strengthening financial processes.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Responsibility for accounting in Norwegian companies
- Ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, and quality assurance
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to Norwegian rules
- VAT reporting and dialogue with Norwegian authorities
- Independent handling of Norwegian payroll
- Contact person for auditors and external parties
- Contribute to improvements in processes, routines, and reporting flows

Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in independent accounting work
- Documented experience in accounting according to Norwegian regulations
- Good knowledge of Norwegian payroll management
- Understanding of Norwegian authority reporting
- Good system skills
- Very good knowledge of Excel
As a person, you are structured, responsible, and quality-conscious. You work independently but also enjoy being part of a team where everyone helps each other. You are meticulous, analytical, and solution-oriented and enjoy being part of a context where finance and business go hand in hand.
