At Xylem, we work to solve the world's water challenges every day. We are now looking for a Service Leader to join our team, a key role where you will lead field service technicians, plan resources, and contribute to providing our customers with top-class service.

About the role

As a Service Leader, you will be responsible for planning and distributing the daily work for our service technicians. You will lead both the operational and administrative work related to service assignments, installations, and maintenance at customer sites. You will also be an important contact person for customers and subcontractors (UE), and provide support to our colleagues in service, rental, and sales. As a service leader, you will also perform everything from service and maintenance to the installation of new and temporary pumping solutions in the field at our customers' locations.

You will report to our Service Manager and be part of a team characterized by collaboration, technical interest, and a strong desire to make a difference.

Your main responsibilities

  • Plan and allocate resources for service assignments and ensure high quality in delivery.

  • Be responsible for work orders and ensure they follow our procedures in SMX.

  • Actively sell service and maintenance agreements and create quotes and business closures.

  • Coordinate service efforts with both internal resources and external partners.

  • Strengthen and maintain customer relationships.

  • Conduct service and maintenance in the field.

  • Support Rental managers within the regions.

  • Contribute to improvement work within quality, 5S, and EHS according to Xylem's central strategy.

We are looking for someone who has

  • Experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in service, maintenance, or installation.

  • The ability to plan and lead teams in a field-oriented work environment.

  • Good communication skills – both internally and externally.

  • Understanding of sales and quoting processes.

  • A structured working method and drive to develop both the team and working methods.

The service organization is located in 12 places in Sweden, from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. Together with our quality products, our service organization provides our customers with a guaranteed long-term solution for their pumping needs. We assist customers with, among other things: product repairs, installations, commissioning, assembly, welding work, and electrical & automation.
