Swedfarm has a long history dating back to the 1940s. Over the years, the company has developed and is now a market leader. We sell chicks and pullets to Sweden's egg industry, as well as equipment and complete systems for poultry and meat bird production to customers across the poultry sector. We collaborate with leading suppliers and provide professional advice to customers in the industry. The operational activities are based in Västra Götaland, where we have our own breeding and rearing facilities, a modern hatchery, and our logistics unit. The head office is located in Linghem, which includes storage, sales, and support functions.

For many years, Swedfarm was a family-owned company, but it is now owned by the MRefine Group along with our CEO Mikael Mörk.

The Job We Offer

We are looking for an operations technician to join our technical team. You will plan and prioritize repairs and other work in our facilities and hatchery.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring: Continuous monitoring/repair of automated systems (Climate, feed, and water) via control room and rounds.

Maintenance: Perform planned service and maintenance work according to maintenance plans to prevent faults and operational disruptions.

Documentation: Keep accurate documentation of service efforts, repairs, and spare parts inventory.

Installation: Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

On-call: Be part of the company's on-call schedule (may involve work in the evenings and weekends).

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and a good ability to work independently and take initiative.

Education: Relevant technical education (e.g., operations technician, maintenance technician in electrical/automation or similar).

Experience: Experience in operations and maintenance work, preferably within industry or agriculture.

Skills: Good computer skills, a solid understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, plumbing, and automation systems.

Requirements: A valid driver's license and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.

Personality: Responsible, meticulous, and flexible. You have good collaboration skills but can also work effectively on your own.

· The work is scheduled - on-call duty is included.

· Collective agreement exists.

· We apply a 6-month probationary period.
