Your task

As a facility technician, your focus will be on the facility or facilities you are responsible for, ensuring they are in the best condition for maximum availability according to our operation and maintenance plans. You will work with the following tasks:

• Coordinate and perform shutdowns (process, electrical, instrumentation) and often be responsible for connections during process shutdowns.
• Ensure that chemical handling and hazardous waste management at facilities are carried out according to routine.
• Coordinate during revisions, renovations, and corrective maintenance.
• Be a fire protection inspector at facilities according to the routine Systematic Fire Protection Work.
• Perform and report weekly and monthly routines.
• Participate in regulatory inspections, operational tests, etc.
• Develop and update routines and instructions.
• Troubleshoot and test run facilities.

Most of your working time will be spent at the facility or facilities you are responsible for. This is important for maintaining a high level of familiarity with the facilities.

You will solve various technical problems in close collaboration with operations technicians, facility owners, and representatives from other internal functions within maintenance and property management.

Your team

The position is located in the District Heating Operations unit. Our focus is on optimal operation of our facilities for electricity and heat production. We play a key role in Gothenburg Energy's important mission - to provide Gothenburg residents with the energy they need, around the clock and throughout the year. Your competence

We are looking for someone with a degree in operational technology with a focus on combined heat and power or equivalent competence. Knowledge of biofuels is an advantage, as is holding a refrigerant certificate category 1, F-gas. To quickly move between our various facilities, you need to have a B driver's license.

We hope you have worked for a few years in energy production, process industry, or similar fields. We would like you to have experience working on smaller projects and with technical investigations. You thrive when you can analyze, take initiative, and it is a given for you to work safely. You are a driven problem solver who enjoys working on many different issues within production, both independently and with other functions.
