We at WeStaff Sweden are now looking for a Production Manager in northern Stockholm, a world-leading technology company that develops infrared cameras and sensor systems of the highest quality. At the client company, you combine advanced technology with craftsmanship on a micro scale and help create products used worldwide, from emergency services and research to defense and industry.
About the role
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of a production section. You will lead, plan, and prioritize the daily work for your team, ensuring that production meets set goals and actively working on improvements in both processes and flows.
You will closely collaborate with colleagues in quality, planning, and technology, contributing to creating an efficient, safe, and pleasant work environment. The role requires presence on the floor, clear communication, and a coaching leadership style.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and distribute the daily work for approximately 12 employees
- Follow up on production results and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure that routines, quality requirements, and safety regulations are followed
- Participate in planning, resource allocation, and daily management
- Drive and support improvement work within production and work methods
- Contribute to a culture characterized by engagement, responsibility, and team spirit
We would like you to have:
- Several years of experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Experience in operational leadership, preferably as a team leader, shift leader, or production manager
- Be structured, communicative, and thrive in a practical and technically oriented environment
- A technical educational background (high school, vocational, or university level)
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have experience with Lean work, improvement work, or leadership in cross-functional environments.
Preferred/extra plus if you have:
- Experience working in cleanrooms or high-tech environments
- Previous work with polishing or processing lenses
- Experience with programming or CNC machines
- Technical education or relevant work experience in production
- Experience with optical measuring instruments and inspection equipment

Location: Northern Stockholm
Working hours: Full-time, daytime Monday-Friday
Start: As agreed
Setup: Long-term consulting assignment
