Ligula Hospitality Group is the parent company of a privately owned group in strong growth. We own, manage, and develop brands and concepts within the hotel and restaurant industry. Since 2015, we have more than doubled the number of hotels, and the expansion continues. The group currently consists of 47 hotels in Sweden, Denmark, and Germany, operating under the brands ProfilHotels, Apartments by Ligula, Motel L, Good Morning Hotels, and Collection by Ligula. Through agreements, we also operate five Best Western Plus hotels. We typically employ around 800 full-time staff and generate over 1,400 MSEK in revenue.

Since opening, we have renovated several parts of the hotel and are now looking for a star who wants to help create memorable restaurant & conference experiences for our guests. Description

We are looking for someone to lead our bar/restaurant and conference team. You are passionate about service, food, and beverages, and you are a natural and confident leader who brings out the best in your team members. We see that you have worked a few years in the restaurant industry, that you are engaged, structured, and love to plan parties, organize afterworks, or detail-plan a schedule for a larger event. You have a commercial drive and are not afraid to pitch in when and where needed.

We appreciate your engagement and wonderful personality that ensures magical guest experiences every day. You have a burning interest in food and beverages and want to share your knowledge, inspire your colleagues, and our guests.

We are looking for someone who can work both daytime, evenings, and weekends; the position is 100% with a 6-month probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that our guests in the bar, restaurant, and conference have a fantastic experience
• Lead the bar/restaurant and conference team
• Plan the operations for the departments
• Be part of the daily operations
• Scheduling and recruitment
• Training of employees as needed
• Plan and execute events, parties, afterworks, etc.
• Daily administration and follow-up of goals
• Purchasing and inventory
• Work closely with in-house sales and the kitchen regarding our group and conference bookings

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a similar position within the restaurant industry and have worked with serving larger groups and à la carte, in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of food and beverages.
• Take initiative, be structured, and love to deliver guest experiences beyond the ordinary.
• A commercial approach.
• The ability to lead and motivate your colleagues.
• You are flexible with hours and can work both mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of the cash register system Trivec is an advantage.
