Actum Greentech AB is now looking for Control Operators for the 2026 season!

We are seeking new employees for upcoming projects regarding chemical and mechanical weed control at operational sites (train stations & rail yards) as well as invasive plant species along Sweden's railway network. Our operations are conducted nationally across the country from Ystad to Haparanda, with Karlskrona as our base. The work takes place outdoors, sometimes far from home, but always with a strong team behind you.

About the role:

As a control operator with us, you will work with:

Chemical and mechanical control of various types of invasive plant species, such as giant hogweed, Japanese knotweed, and Himalayan balsam
Chemical weed control at train stations and rail yards
Inventory of control areas
Transport and logistics
Practical outdoor tasks in varying environments

We are looking for someone who:

Enjoys physical outdoor work and has a good work ethic
Is responsible, engaged, and independent
Is flexible, solution-oriented, and likes to travel
Holds a B driver's license (required)
Holds a BE driver's license or higher (meritorious)
Has previous experience with agricultural machinery, ATVs, backpack sprayers, or brush cutters (meritorious)
Holds plant protection training class 1L/2L (meritorious)

Employment type & working hours:

Seasonal employment April–August/September
Work schedule: 7/7, meaning you work seven days and then have seven days off – which corresponds to full-time according to our collective agreement (SEKO, road and rail agreement)
Variable working hours (day/evening/night/weekend)

Before starting:

We provide mandatory training before the project starts (February-April)
You will receive the equipment and introduction you need
Salary according to the applicable collective agreement (SEKO, road and rail agreement)
