Björkskatan Health Center is one of the largest health centers in Luleå, with approximately 12,500 registered citizens. We have an exciting and varied catchment area that includes urban residents, rural areas, and students attending Luleå University of Technology (LTU). Our services include medical and nursing consultations, laboratory services, maternal and child health care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and a psychosocial team. We are part of the Norrbotten care choice system. We have over 40 employees working closely together to develop our methods for the best interest of our patients and to create a good working environment.

What is new and exciting is that the new six-year medical education includes placements at KUM (Clinical Education Clinic). We are in the startup phase, and KUM will be located at Björkskatan, managed independently but connected to the catchment area of Björkskatan Health Center.

We are looking for
We are looking for a specialist physician in general medicine who has good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form at a C1 level, as well as knowledge of English. Experience in the profession is an advantage.

This is what you will work with
Your tasks will include outpatient work, collaboration with the municipality's home health care, and the municipality's care and nursing homes, as well as work in maternal and child health care. We work with both digital and physical visits. The health center is based on the needs of the patients and strives for a pleasant working environment with varied and stimulating tasks. The work is independent but within a team that collaborates. Scheduled time for joint meetings and internal training.

Information about the position
The position is a permanent full-time employment. Working hours are scheduled during the day with on-call duty in the evenings/weekends at the Emergency Center in Luleå. Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
