Are you a technical problem solver with a passion for smart design and clear documentation?

You will work with advanced systems within retarders and power take-offs (PTO), focusing on construction, drawing preparation, and top-notch technical documentation. The role is varied, practical, and filled with opportunities to make an impact – perfect for you who enjoy switching between innovation and detail focus. 

What you will do: 

• Take on complex engineering challenges and find smart, sustainable solutions.
• Create and further develop concepts that work in reality and are manufacturing-efficient. 
• Update and improve existing drawings and documentation according to the latest design standards and quality requirements. 
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute both technical expertise and creative thinking.

Who we are looking for:

You are an engineer who thrives hands-on, enjoys pace, and is motivated by change and development. You are as much a problem solver as a team player. 

• Master's degree in engineering Fluent in Swedish and English 
• Documented experience with CATIA V5 and ENOVIA 
• Good knowledge of Scania's/TRATON's development processes and tools such as PD Process, FRAS, and ECO 
• On-site presence at Scania Technical Centre at least four days a week, and ready to be there more often when needed
