Working as a Medical Lead Specialist Doctor at WeMind

In addition to working as a senior physician at the unit, as an MLA, you are an important part of the management of the operation together with the unit manager. You participate in regular medical management group meetings with the medical chief and actively work on patient safety at the unit, developing medical routines, and improving the operation.

The physician's role is central both in psychiatric diagnostics and in evidence-based treatment and regular follow-up. How do we know we are on the right track? We work with measurement-based care. This means that we always follow up treatment with validated assessment scales that we review together with the patient during the visit. This increases the patient's involvement in care and enhances the possibility of individualized treatment, ensuring that it truly adds value for the patient. Follow-up takes place on a digital platform to avoid unnecessary administrative burden on the staff.

Your new workplace

WeMind plans to start four LARO units in Skåne, with a likely start in May 2026. LARO refers to medication-assisted treatment and rehabilitation for opioid dependence, and the assignment is conducted under an agreement with Region Skåne. The clinics will be located in Ystad, Höör or Eslöv, Ängelholm, and Klippan. We are looking for a medically responsible physician for our units who, together with the responsible manager, will start and run the clinics in accordance with the agreement with Region Skåne.

About you

• Licensed physician, specialist in psychiatry
• Previous experience in a leadership role
• Strong interest in follow-up and evidence
