Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for park workers who want to be part of a positive and driven workgroup during our peak season! With us, you will work outdoors all summer – perfect for those who thrive in fresh air!

You, along with your colleagues, will be responsible for ensuring that tasks are carried out correctly and safely, and that you together create a welcoming, pleasant atmosphere and good working environment. We handle various machines, but many tasks are physically demanding, which requires you to have good physical fitness. You will be involved in planning your and your team's daily work. As part of the assignment, you are also expected to guide an intern in the daily work. This means you need to be able to show, instruct, and create a safe and educational environment for someone who is new to the workforce.

In the role of park worker, your tasks will primarily consist of:

• mowing and trimming
• weed control in planting areas, gravel areas, sandy areas, and hard surfaces
• hedge trimming and bush care
• watering of trees and other plantings
• cleaning and tidying
• leaf management
• supervision and maintenance of municipal beaches and associated areas.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• has completed high school education
• has a B driver's license and can drive both manual and automatic vehicles
• has knowledge/training in gardening, green space maintenance, or property management, or alternatively 2 years of experience in green space maintenance
• has good physical ability
• is communicative and can communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing
• is digitally savvy, as mobile phones and digital systems are important tools in daily work
• is a good swimmer.

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working with various gardening machines
• experience driving a car with a trailer
• certifications such as Chainsaw A, B, C; Work on the Road; Brushcutter RA/RB; Hot Work; BE license.
