Who are we?
Approximately five percent of patients who survive intensive care remain in the ICU for an extended period because they are too ill to move on in the healthcare chain. This is where Remeo comes into play. The Remeo concept is a new and specially developed form of care for long-term critically ill patients in Sweden. We offer high-quality and high-tech care and rehabilitation outside the traditional hospital environment. Our patients often require ventilators, continuous monitoring, and various alarm functions, so our operations have a strong technological component.
In the role of medical technician, you will be offered a stimulating and responsible job where decision-making paths are short and the opportunity for influence is great. You will receive thorough training and have the chance to contribute to the development of future high-specialized care concepts for long-term critically ill patients. The highly specialized care we provide requires continuous development of all employees, and we continuously conduct internal training and development projects.
In our workplace, we have a great sense of community, and you will collaborate daily with skilled and dedicated colleagues towards the same goal. If this sounds interesting – join us on our journey!
The position is a permanent employment with placement at our clinic in the picturesque Sköndal. Selection and interviews are ongoing, so we welcome your application today.
About the position
As a medical technician, you will provide support and assistance to the healthcare operation with patient monitoring, respiratory aids, and partially within data/IT and property management. Reporting is done directly to the company's technical manager.
Main responsibilities/tasks include:

• Analyzing alarm statistics (patient monitoring) and error logs
• Assisting in procurement and specification of requirements
• Working with systematic quality management

• We have a shared on-call line 24/7, which means phone readiness and, if necessary, on-site presence within 2 hours. On-call duty is compensated by time off if it is continuously scheduled. The on-call line has a more favorable compensation rate than the usual in the labor market.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
• A medical technical education (at least a 3-year university degree or engineering degree)
• Work experience in similar tasks. If you have education or experience in IT and/or property management, it is an advantage.
• You are service-oriented and have an easy time collaborating with others
• You are flexible and interested in working in a rapidly developing organization and in project work
• You have the ability to work independently and have an interest in and enjoy training others

About Remeo
The Remeo clinic is a Swedish healthcare innovation for long-term critically ill patients and patients in need of advanced respiratory support. Remeo is a completely unique form of care in Sweden and the only one of its kind. We help individuals return to life and home, regaining control over their breathing and daily life.
Patients who come to us have often been cared for for an extended period in the intensive care unit or intermediate care unit but have come out of the most acute phase. We create an individual care plan for each patient, where rehabilitation and care go hand in hand from day one, with a return to their own home as the ultimate goal. The patient can gradually return to a safe and secure existence with a high quality of life. We offer high-quality and high-tech care and rehabilitation outside the traditional hospital environment. The clinic is located in Sköndal by Drevviken.
Remeo is a clinic for intensive care rehabilitation of patients with long-term critical illness and failure of vital functions. Our research aims to improve care for our patients through increased understanding of disease progression and the development of effective treatment methods. What we learn is shared with colleagues and patients both in Sweden and around the world. Read more about us at: www.remeo.se (http://www.remeo.se)
