Location: Svensk Skogsservice headquarters in Ed

Scope: Full-time (80% administration of equipment/storage/clothing, 20% workshop work)

About the position

We are looking for someone who enjoys juggling multiple tasks and wants to combine administrative work with practical elements in the workshop. You will be an important part of the team and act as the hub between project managers and production regarding equipment, vehicles, and resource management.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that things run smoothly on a daily basis and contribute your practical skills when needed in the workshop – primarily working with brush cutters and basic mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Work with the budget regarding equipment and vehicles
• Be the point of contact for project managers regarding equipment, availability, and resource planning
• Handle insurance and claims matters
• Be responsible for maintenance, cleaning, and reconditioning of vehicles, trailers, etc.
• Manage orders and inventory of equipment and clothing
• Contribute to keeping properties and the workshop intact, clean, and well-organized
• Participate in simpler workshop tasks (approx. 20%) – for example, maintenance and service of saws
• Be available to support forestry tasks when needed

Qualifications

• BE driver's license – required
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Administrative experience and organizational skills
• Practical and comfortable in a technical environment
• Experience in vehicle or workshop work is an advantage
• Experience in the forestry industry is an advantage
