We are currently looking for a pedagogical babysitter for a family in Karlaplan, Stockholm.

About us

NPF Barnvakten offers babysitting services to families with children with NPF.

NPF stands for neuropsychiatric functional impairment, and the most common impairments are: ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and Language impairment. Our goal is to help as many as possible with special needs, and therefore you will undergo internal training in NPF before you start your first assignment. At NPF Barnvakten, you will have a developing, joyful, and incredibly rewarding part-time job.

The assignment:

Number of children and ages: 3 children, ages 2, 5, and 9 years

Days and times: 2 afternoons/week from around 15:30

Desired start date: February

The babysitting takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.

Location: Karlaplan, Stockholm

We are looking for someone who:

Has some experience with children and children with language impairment and autism

Has experience in language development

Has experience in clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal responses

Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children

Wants a developing and rewarding part-time job

Is pedagogical, secure, and calm

Can work flexibly both evenings and weekends

Speaks Swedish fluently

It is an advantage if you have knowledge in visual support and TAKK

Picking up from preschool/school

Finding activities inside and outside the home

Providing support during outings

Preparing simple meals

Bedtime routines
