We are Home Care Vellinge and operate throughout the municipality. We are based in 3 units: Almgården in Vellinge, Postgården in Höllviken, and Bäckagården in Skanör/Falsterbo. There are parking options and bus stops near all our units.

In the position of nursing assistant, you work with care and support based on the client's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions and always with a strong focus on quality. You work, for example, with helping with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and being there for social interaction. The social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that everyone can live life to the fullest. It can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on outings, or coming up with fun activities together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues for part-time permanent positions with a probationary period, with a workload of 72-80%.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• A driving license B and/or the ability to cycle

We also see it as an advantage if you have previous experience in home care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
