At Forenede Care, we are looking for you who want to work on an hourly basis as a nursing assistant/care assistant at our newly renovated short-term accommodation and our cozy nursing home in Vaxholm!

As a nursing assistant/care assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents.

Forenede Care Vaxholm's nursing home consists of three properties with a total of 83 apartments distributed over seven units. Five units are intended for people with cognitive impairments.

The facility is located close to green areas and good transport links. It takes about 40 minutes by bus from central Stockholm and about an hour by Vaxholm's boat.

In the position as a part-time nursing assistant/care assistant with us, you will perform care and support based on the customer's wishes and in accordance with applicable assistance decisions with a strong focus on quality. This is done, for example, by performing personal hygiene, assisting with meal preparation and serving, responding to safety alarms, and engaging in social activities. Social activities may include conversations, games, music activities, or similar. You will also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for part-time staff.

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• Present a diploma for completed online training in Dementia ABC and Dementia ABC Plus

We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in short-term care, elderly care, dementia care/somatology and have completed the online training "working safely with medications" available at the dementia center.
