We at WeStaff are now looking for a Production Engineer for an innovative manufacturing company in northern Stockholm. Here you will have a broad role where you become an important link between production, design, and development, and where you will work closely with assemblers, operators, welders, technicians, and management to create improvements throughout the manufacturing chain.

About the role

Do you want to work closely with production and be a key person in developing our manufacturing processes? At our client in northern Stockholm, you will work in an international, innovative environment where we manufacture high-quality ovens and accessories for professional use. We are looking for someone who wants to work at the heart of the manufacturing process, enjoys solving problems, and wants to contribute to continuous improvements.

Main responsibilities:

• Support production with technical solutions and instructions.
• Work on improvement initiatives, flow optimization, and standardization.
• Participate in production preparation, reading drawings, and simple measurements.
• Create and update work instructions and production documentation.
• Collaborate with quality, design, and assembly/welding to ensure efficient manufacturing.
• Contribute ideas on how the company can develop its processes, tools, and methods.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical background who enjoys working closely with both people and machines. You are curious, practical, and have an eye for structure and improvements.

You are an engineer who thrives close to production and enjoys translating technology into practical solutions. Perhaps you have worked for a few years as a production technician or quality technician, or you are at the beginning of your career but have experience from the manufacturing industry.

You are analytical, curious, and enjoy improving work methods, flows, and production quality. At the client, you will work broadly, from reading drawings and measurement techniques to improvement projects and production support, in an environment where technology and craftsmanship go hand in hand.

We believe you have:

• Higher vocational education or university degree in production technology, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Some years of experience working in the manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of reading drawings (mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams).
• Basic knowledge of measurement techniques.
• Experience in assembly, sheet metal processing, or welding is an advantage.
• Understanding of Lean, 5S, or improvement work is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Practical information

• Scope: Full-time, daytime Monday–Friday 
• Location: Northern Stockholm
• Start: Immediately, by agreement
