This is what we aim to achieve with our newly opened care and nursing home in Värmdö. We are looking for four additional nursing assistants for day and night shifts, ready to start with us this spring.

Pilhamns Gårdar

… is one of four homes operated by Bräcke Diakoni in Stockholm. The residence offers 70 apartments for the elderly with cognitive diseases (dementia) and is beautifully located on Ingarö, Värmdö in a culturally historic environment with lovely walking paths. We strive to create a sense of home, but also a connection to the place and nature for our residents.

Your Role

As a nursing assistant at Pilhamns Gårdar, you will be part of a dedicated care team. We place great importance on creating a sense of home and meaningfulness in everyday life for those with cognitive diseases. This is achieved through person-centered care, participation, outdoor activities, and social content. Together with colleagues, you will plan the work to meet the needs and wishes of the residents. In a newly started operation, you have great opportunities to influence how work methods and routines should look. You will also receive solid support from other professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and coordinators.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with experience and interest in working with people with cognitive diseases. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as well as good computer skills and knowledge of social documentation. We also see that you are attentive and responsible, with the ability to see the person behind the illness.
