This is what we aim to achieve with our newly opened care and nursing home in Värmdö. We are now looking for nursing assistants for hourly positions who are ready to start with us this spring.

Pilhamns gårdar

… is one of four homes operated by Bräcke Diakoni in Stockholm. The residence offers 70 apartments for the elderly with cognitive illnesses (dementia) and is beautifully located on Ingarö, Värmdö in a culturally historic environment with lovely walking paths. We strive to create a sense of home, as well as a connection to the place and nature for our residents.

Your role

Working as an hourly substitute means that you work when regular staff are absent. This can be anything from a few hours to a longer period. During your time at Pilhamns gårdar, you will participate in a dedicated care team for individuals with cognitive illnesses. Together with colleagues, you will plan and carry out interventions based on the needs and wishes of the residents. Interventions that focus on person-centered care, participation, outdoor activities, and social content.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with experience and interest in working with people with cognitive illnesses. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills and knowledge of social documentation. As a person, you are attentive and responsible, with the ability to see the person behind the illness.
