Do you want to lead a quality-focused team with a strong technical emphasis and be a key person in ensuring that only products of the highest quality proceed into production? We are looking for a Team Leader Receiving Inspection who wants to combine technical expertise with leadership and strategic development.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible both operationally and strategically for the team's work in incoming quality control. You will work closely with the Quality Manager to plan resources and competency needs, develop processes, and drive improvement work. You will also be an important point of contact for other teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategic Responsibility

- Plan the team's resources, competency development, and long-term goals - Ensure that the team has effective processes, methods, and relevant tools. - Coordinate activities with other teams within the organization. - Lead improvement initiatives and work systematically towards the organization's quality goals.

Operational Quality Work

- Participate in the team's daily activities in development and quality assurance. - Review, approve, and apply PPAP documentation. - Initiate and lead 8D and CHR investigations, including safety-critical issues. - Write and communicate complaints to suppliers and gather documentation for supplier requirements.

Measurement and Calibration

- Responsible for the calibration of standard measuring instruments. - Administer and organize calibration certificates in various systems. - Report calibration status and the team's progress to management.

Qualifications

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical competence.

Experience in quality work within manufacturing or industry.

Good knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Experience with measurement technology and various measuring instruments such as 3D coordinate measuring machines, coating thickness gauges, and optical comparators.

Good IT skills and experience working with Microsoft Office.

Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Desirable

Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and PPAP.

Experience with technical drawings, 8D methodology, APQP, MSA, FMEA, and control plans.

Interest in technology and improvement work.

The position is on-site with the customer in Upplands Väsby. Swedish spoken and written is not a requirement but is advantageous for the customer.
