Are you ready to take the next step as a development engineer in precision mechanics and electromechanical products?

We are currently looking for a development engineer for direct employment with our client, an exciting role for those with a few years of experience in product development looking to advance their career.

About the role

As a development engineer, you will be an important part of an experienced team where you will work closely with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. You will contribute to projects involving high-performance electromechanical products with unique properties for controlling compressed air and liquids. The work includes:

• Precision mechanical design and basic calculations.
• Simulation, verification, and testing of prototypes.
• Optimization and improvement of designs for series production.
• Documentation of requirements and technical solutions.
• Collaboration with suppliers and customers in various development phases.
• You will have the opportunity to grow in your technical competence and take on greater responsibility in project execution. 

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or electromechanics, who has worked for a couple of years in design or product development. You have a technical depth and a systems perspective, enjoying seeing the whole picture of how mechanics, electronics, and control interact. To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Good knowledge of CAD (e.g., Creo or SolidWorks).
• Some experience with precision mechanical designs or components.
• Interest in simulation, verification, and testing work.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or valve design is a plus.
• You are a team player who enjoys collaborating and sharing ideas while also being comfortable taking responsibility and driving your work forward.

• Scope: Full-time, direct employment with the client company.
• Location: Haninge, southern Stockholm (hybrid solution possible).
• Travel: Some travel per year to customers and suppliers may occur.
• Start: As agreed.
