About the Assignment

The Traffic Administration in the Stockholm Region is responsible for a well-functioning, safe, and sustainable public transport system for over 700,000 daily travelers. We are now looking for a Power Systems Manager to the Technical Department, Infrastructure BEST section, to strengthen our team in electrical systems and contribute to safe and reliable rail traffic.

As a Power Systems Manager, you will be an important part of the line organization and work broadly with operation, maintenance, requirements specification, and development of electrical facilities within the subway, tram, bus, and maritime traffic as well as buildings.

You will handle both low and high voltage systems, including overhead contact systems, substations, backup power, lighting systems, and control and monitoring systems.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Power Systems Manager, you will among other things:

• Manage operation and maintenance issues for electrical facilities (low and high voltage as well as train operation systems)
• Establish budgets, follow up on finances, and contribute to operational planning
• Be responsible for contract follow-up, delivery follow-up, and quality within your area of responsibility
• Develop management plans, technical documentation, and facility descriptions
• Propose and prepare replacement investments and major maintenance actions
• Act as a receiver of new or rebuilt infrastructure for management
• Provide expert support within control and monitoring systems for electrical facilities
• Lead and participate in projects, investigations, and change work
• Conduct inspections and controls of electrical facilities
• Verify invoices and ensure correct payment according to agreements
• Contribute to the development of processes and working methods within the electrical power area

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented experience in power engineering, preferably from rail traffic, infrastructure, or the energy sector
• Experience in operation, maintenance, requirements specification and/or project management in power engineering
• Good knowledge of high and low voltage systems, control and monitoring systems
• Ability to work structured, independently, and in collaboration with multiple parties
• Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you have experience from public operations, the Traffic Administration or SL's systems, as well as track authorization or experience working in a security-classified environment.
