Cost Estimator for Client Company Outside Vetlanda.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone with strong cost estimation skills and experience in the construction and contracting industry. You will manage the assignment from the first customer contact to the presentation of the completed estimate, and we believe you are a driven person who enjoys keeping track and taking on various types of projects.

Your tasks will include creating cost estimates based on drawings, technical specifications, and other project information. You will also prepare completed bid proposals and assist our project managers in ongoing projects, as well as follow up on these. We hope you find the industry exciting and want to stay updated through market monitoring. If you also have a broad network – that’s a plus.

Important for the position is that you:

• have relevant education or experience in construction technology, economics, or equivalent
• have good knowledge of estimation and purchasing systems, e.g. Bluebeam, Sektionsdata, NEXT, and MS Excel or equivalent
• can read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
• are a meticulous person who enjoys collaborating in a team
• are solution-oriented and innovative
• have knowledge of the general regulations of the construction and civil engineering industry

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have several years of experience in the role of estimator, primarily from the construction industry, and preferably a post-secondary education in construction technology or equivalent. You have good experience with systems such as Excel, MS Office, and construction estimation software, and we would like you to have good knowledge of contract law. As a person, you enjoy collaborating with others, are structured, and interested in numbers. You are meticulous, responsible, work independently, and can prioritize even in high-pressure situations. Your communication skills in Swedish are very good. We place great importance on your personal qualities. After your years as an estimator, you possess a good network.
