Job Description

eLinked AB is now looking for six trailer mechanics for our client in Gothenburg.

You will work on servicing, repairing, and preparing truck trailers for new customer assignments. The work takes place both in the workshop and outdoors under tents on the facility's yard, which means you should enjoy working in varied environments.

This is a long-term position where you will be employed by eLinked AB and rented out to our client for six months.

After that, there is an opportunity to transition to a permanent position with the client company – but if you enjoy working with eLinked, there is also the possibility to continue within our team.

The need is continuous and long-term, with stable demand for many years to come.

eLinked AB operates in industry, infrastructure, contracting, and workshop environments. We have over 200 employees in Sweden and are projected to generate approximately 130 million SEK in revenue by 2025.

We have offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö.

 

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of trailers and their components
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues
• Replacement and repair of brakes, wheels, axles, and other wear parts
• Assembly of steel components and basic welding work
• Replacement and installation of tarpaulins/tents on trailers for new customer profiling
• Preparation of trailers for delivery – ensuring they are intact, safe, and presentable

 

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a trailer mechanic or mechanic for heavy vehicles
• Alternatively has experience in:
  • Brake replacement
  • Steel assembly and basic welding
  • Vehicle or trailer electronics (wiring, troubleshooting, installation)
  
  


• Is responsible, meticulous, and enjoys practical work


• Has a B driver's license


• Is proficient in Swedish or English

Training as a vehicle mechanic is an advantage, but relevant experience and a willingness to learn are equally important.
