We are currently looking for a technical sales representative with a customer focus for our office in Västerås or Sundbyberg.
Role Description:
In this role, you will be both a door opener and a relationship builder. You will be responsible for finding and winning new customers, as well as deepening the collaboration with those we already work with. You are driven by seeing deals take shape and have documented experience in building a strong sales pipeline and closing deals.
You are used to working independently, enjoy structure, and have a knack for communicating in a clear and persuasive manner. Since our solutions are often technically complex, you need to have a good technical understanding and be able to immerse yourself in the customer's reality. Initially, you will also contribute operationally to various customer projects, which may involve coordination, follow-up, or proposal work. In the long run, the goal is for you to focus entirely on sales.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business leads through various sales and marketing activities, with a strong focus on networking, cold calling, and customer meetings
- Speak directly with decision-makers in technical departments to understand their needs and present how PROSE can help
- Deliver clear and relevant presentations that showcase PROSE's technical solutions and services
- Develop accurate proposals, both in response to tenders and on your own initiative by listening to and understanding our customers' needs
- Manage multiple sales cases simultaneously, prioritize correctly, and work structured for the best results
- Work closely with other teams, such as project and marketing, to develop new solutions and strengthen customer relationships
- Carefully follow up on the sales pipeline and revenues
- Meet or exceed sales targets
Requirements:
- Relevant university degree – bachelor's, master's, or equivalent
- At least 3–5 years of experience in sales or business development for B2B, preferably within the railway industry or a similar field.
- Self-driven and proactive
- Able to present and explain the value of our solutions
- Structured, communicative, documented experience in negotiation and collaboration
- Creative and strategic in finding new ways to achieve business goals
- Experience from the railway industry is a plus
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM systems is an advantage
