About the position

The client is an established player in infrastructure who is now looking for a site manager for two larger renovation projects in a public transport environment. The projects involve a complete renovation and electrification of two bus terminals in existing facilities with ongoing operations. In other words, high demands are placed on planning, technical understanding, and coordination of various disciplines. As a site manager, you will have total responsibility for the construction production on-site – regarding work environment, economy, planning, and collaboration. You will lead the project in the field and report to the overarching project management. The role also involves close cooperation with technical disciplines such as electrical, HVAC, ventilation, and building construction. 

Your future tasks 

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the execution of the projects on-site. This entails a wide range of tasks, both strategic and operational.

Examples of tasks:

• Lead and coordinate the entire construction production on-site, from start to finish, with responsibility for economy, employees, planning, and execution.
• Ensure that all projects are conducted according to applicable safety and work environment regulations.
• Actively participate in procurements and purchases for the projects.
• Coordinate internal resources and subcontractors.
• Report continuously internally and to the client, as well as contribute to improvement work.

We are looking for someone who has

• At least 3–5 years of experience as a site manager in construction, preferably from projects in the range of 10–50 million.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Documented experience of construction-related projects, including construction, concrete, and walls.
• Good understanding of KMA work, change management, scheduling, and budget follow-up.
• Experience in leading projects in environments with ongoing operations.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. 

It is considered an advantage if you have certification for working with concrete.

As a person, you are a responsible and solution-oriented leader who enjoys working closely with production. With your practical understanding of construction processes and your ability to create structure, you drive projects forward – even when the conditions are complex.

Start: Immediately, considering notice period 

Location: Stockholm, the projects are based from two establishments in Stockholm. 

Scope: Full-time

Employment type: Permanent, with an initial probationary period
