For the winter season 2026, we are looking for someone who wants to work with us in one of the coolest jobs in the mountain world, with the mountain right outside the door! In the ski resort Riksgränsen, we primarily focus on freeride and ski touring, and as a guide with us, you will mainly work with ski touring and off-piste guiding. The role also includes work in our sports information and, when needed, with events, competitions, and other types of guided activities and tasks under the sports department.

You will mainly be based at our facility in Riksgränsen, but it may also be relevant to work between our facilities as needed. During the 2026 season, we will have the ski system in Riksgränsen open from February 20 to May 24.

Your tasks

As a guide in Riksgränsen, you will among other things:

• Conduct guided ski tours in the area around Riksgränsen and Narvik
• Perform off-piste guiding in the ski system
• Work in sports information with service and bookings
• Support at events, competitions, and activities organized by the sports department
• Contribute to the sports department's other work where needed

Your profile

• Mountain Leader's mountain leader norm, or equivalent
• SVELAV Pro 1, or equivalent
• You have a valid first aid training with a wilderness focus, equivalent to at least Wilderness Advanced First Aid
• Driver's license B for manual transmission
• You are confident in skiing at all levels and in varying terrain and conditions, especially off-piste
• You have a strong safety mindset and take great responsibility for your tasks
• You are humble, flexible, and helpful, and enjoy working in a team where you support each other
• You are proactive and like to contribute to events, competitions, and other activities within the sports department
• You have good references from similar work

Meritorious

• You have previous experience guiding groups professionally on ski tours
• You have previous experience in the area around Björkliden and Riksgränsen
• You are a trained ski instructor
• You have a snowmobile driving license
