About the Role

Are you looking for new challenges and enjoy finding innovative solutions to tricky problems? We are now looking for more mechanical engineers who want to be part of our growing operations in Västerås.

As a consultant in our dynamic business area for product development, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of future products and solutions for some of Sweden's most prominent and exciting companies.

As a Mechanical Engineer, there is great variation in the nature of the assignments. In some assignments, you will be involved in project development from start to finish. In other assignments, you will enhance the client's expertise in specific areas or work with product maintenance. The assignments vary over time, and we carry out assignments both on-site with clients and in our own facilities.

You will be based at AFRY's office in Västerås and/or at the client's premises. In the long run, there may be an opportunity to work remotely.

Requirements

You who apply have:

• A degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• At least 3 years of experience in product development or mechanical design
• Good knowledge of a CAD tool, e.g., Siemens NX, Solid Works, or Creo, as well as experience working with PLM systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• A valid driver's license (B)
