HEAD WAITER FOR CADIERBAREN

Cadierbaren is the heart of the historic Grand Hôtel Stockholm and is named after the hotel's founder, Régis Cadier, who opened the doors to the Royal Palace and the world in 1874. Since then, we have been home to celebrities, grand events, and ordinary connoisseurs year-round. Since its inception in 2006, Cadierbaren has been an obvious meeting place for both Stockholmers and visitors seeking culinary craftsmanship and service of the highest international class.

In our constant strive to develop and quality assure our F&B departments, we are now looking for a head waiter for Cadierbaren who wants and can deliver an absolute five-star service to our guests and lead and develop a team of service staff. We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in food and beverages and possesses the knowledge to guide our guests to a memorable experience. The work is scheduled for both weekdays and weekends, primarily during the evening.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Head Waiter, you will be responsible for cash handling, scheduling, and ensuring that the daily operations follow our Leading standards for delivering five-star service. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted with the highest possible quality, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. You will be the guests' primary contact during their visit and an obvious leader for our team of service staff.

At times, the job will require a lot of work, and being stress-resistant and solution-oriented is therefore a must. For the right person, it will be both developing, rewarding, and above all, a lot of fun.

Additional tasks include:

• Overseeing upcoming bookings
• Staying updated on the financial situation and actively working to optimize orders and inventory to create good financial results.
• Actively participating in training and development of staff
• Ensuring that staff's appearance, style, and knowledge align with Grand Hôtel's established goals
• Contributing to good communication with other departments.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and agreements.
• Other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• When needed, being able to speak in front of a larger group of people in Swedish and English.

WHO ARE YOU?

• As a person, you are positive, structured, and passionate
• You have at least 6 years of professional experience as a Head Waiter - preferably with international experience.
• You have leadership experience and are familiar with basic budgeting within F&B.
• You have documented training in the profession or equivalent documented experience.
• Everyone working with us must be at least 18 years old and speak and write good Swedish and English. Additional languages in this international environment are, of course, a plus.
