We are now looking for a chef for our kitchen at Nytida Österlen HVB in Hammenhög.

You will be responsible for preparing meals for approximately 14 people. You will be in charge of organizing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and preparing evening snacks. It is important to us that our residents receive a nutritious and healthy diet, and all food is prepared from scratch. About the role In this position, you will be responsible for planning menus, ordering supplies, and ensuring that your own budget is maintained. Furthermore, we want you to be able to handle various special diets, serving, and keeping food warm, as well as washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen. It is important that you can handle food properly and have knowledge of and follow laws and guidelines, both national and local. You are well-versed in self-control and have experience and knowledge of self-control work. We seek staff who have experience in all areas of the kitchen and who are not averse to seeing the entire kitchen as their workplace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Primarily, we are looking for a person with the ability to meet people in a respectful manner and who is cheerful and outgoing, and sees it as a natural part of their job to involve our clients in the kitchen when needed.

About the unit Nytida Österlen is a HVB (home for care and accommodation). We welcome men and women over 21 years old with mental disabilities, even in combination with substance abuse. We work towards long-term goals with a focus on strengthening the healthy.

Your experience and knowledge

We see that you have good collaboration skills, are service-oriented, and enjoy working together with both colleagues and clients. We also wish that you are meticulous, flexible, and can work in a structured manner and organize your work effectively. We are looking for a person with a chef's education and experience from large-scale kitchens, who can also prepare special and vegetarian/vegan meals.
