Mechanic at Rullpack

As a Mechanic at Rullpack, you play a key role in our production and contribute directly to our operational reliability and delivery precision. In this role, you will work with service, repairs, and preventive maintenance of our machines and other equipment, ensuring that we can always deliver the highest quality and quantity to our customers. We are looking for someone who combines technical competence with a strong customer focus – production is seen as an internal customer, and your work makes a concrete difference in everyday life.

With a focus on preventive maintenance, you minimize unplanned downtime and keep the equipment in top condition. You will be an important link in our close collaboration between maintenance and production, where your proactive approach and problem-solving ability help us optimize processes and ensure timely delivery.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing service, maintenance, and repairs of the machinery (approximately 30 machines/extruders).
• Work with preventive maintenance according to established routines and schedules.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve operational disturbances.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance and operational reliability routines.
• Collaborate closely with production and other functions to minimize downtime.
• Participate in projects and improvement initiatives related to machinery and processes.
• Document completed work and report deviations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in an industrial environment. We value good technical understanding and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of pneumatics is essential, and we also hope you have the intention to further develop in automation and control technology. The ability to read and understand technical documentation and drawings facilitates work in various projects and maintenance tasks.

About You

As a person, you are self-driven and responsible, meticulous, structured, and solution-oriented. It is important that you see production as an internal customer and work with a service-oriented mindset, have good collaboration skills, and want to contribute to the team's success (the team consists of 6 people and on-call duty may occur). You should be flexible and proactive with an interest in developing work methods and routines.
