Your Role

Our goal at Åhléns is to be an experience-driven destination that makes a difference for the customer. Even though we have been around for over 125 years, more is happening than ever at Åhléns. We want to invest in physical retail and are opening a new department store in Ingelsta Shopping! We are now looking for several Salespeople whose mission is to contribute to sales through active customer contact and provide service that exceeds customer expectations. You meet people every day and help create a customer experience that makes a difference! You will join during a new establishment and may be involved in building up the store.

Examples of tasks:

• To sell through active customer contact in accordance with Åhléns service concept
• To actively work with upselling through competitions and campaigns
• Ensure an inspiring and sales-oriented store environment that creates the best customer experience

You will be part of a passionate team and work closely with other roles in the store, which may include Visual Merchandiser, Stock Picker, Department Manager, or Sales Leader as well as Store Manager.

About the recruitment

We are looking for several salespeople in various capacities from 4 - 28 hours/week for all our departments - Beauty, Fashion, and Home. We offer a permanent position with an initial probationary period, and you will work according to a schedule that spans weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Working hours may vary between 08:00 and 20:00. As the store is planned to open in mid-November, we would like you to start with us on November 1st.
