We are looking for a cook or kitchen assistant at Nytida Mogården in Gråbo for short-term accommodation for individuals with mental health issues and substance abuse. The position is a fixed-term employment during the absence of the current cook. We offer an introduction, training in food handling, and several benefits.

About the role We are looking for someone with previous kitchen experience and the ability to make and receive food orders. We hope you are a social person with an understanding of people in need of care and support. You will heat and serve food for up to 32 clients. The food is delivered from Dafgård, and you will prepare simple salads for the meals. You are expected to serve breakfast, lunch, and prepare dinner so that the staff can easily heat the evening meal. Offering baked bread or snacks is also appreciated as a special touch from the clients' side. In the role of cook or kitchen assistant, you are also expected to keep the kitchen clean and organized and wash dishes and tidy up the kitchen after preparation.
The working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 15:30, including a break. You will be surrounded by a fantastic team of housing support workers, treatment assistants, group leaders, operations managers, and cleaning staff among others. You are never alone when you work with us, and we always find ways to create a pleasant working environment.

Your experience and knowledge You see opportunities, have a positive outlook, and a strong commitment to people. The work requires you to be responsible and have personal maturity. Additionally, you have good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You have experience working in a kitchen and making orders; we prefer that you are a trained cook or have previously worked in a large kitchen.
