Internship in the Real Estate Sector

Are you studying a vocational higher education program with a focus on the real estate sector? For the winter 2025/spring 2026, we can accept students studying property technology, energy technology, operational technology, and property engineering for internships (LIA).

Doing an internship within the Västra Götaland Region and Västfastigheter can be the beginning of getting to know your future employer, gaining insight into what it is like to work for a socially important public actor, and making valuable contacts. For us as an employer, it provides an opportunity to benefit from new research and build connections with our potential future employees.

Our operational units are located at all our hospitals, and our offices are in Borås, Gothenburg, Skövde, and Uddevalla. For this period, we are accepting LIA interns in Gothenburg and Kungälv!

What will I do during the internship?

What you study, how far you have progressed in your education, the length of your internship, and the operations on site will determine how we structure your internship. We will ensure together that you receive tasks related to your education. You may also have the opportunity to gain insight into other types of tasks that may be interesting in relation to your education. Throughout the period, you will have support from a supervisor with us.

We continuously assess incoming applications against the organization's needs and the ability to accept interns.
