As we continue our exciting cloud transformation journey, we are in need of a skilled DevOps Engineer who will help define Resurs guardrails for AWS operations and educate our Engineering teams in best practices.

Get an idea of the role

As a DevOps Engineer at Resurs, you will be part of a team that supports our development teams in delivering secure, efficient, and high-quality software. Here are some of the things you'll be doing:

• Guiding and mentoring development teams in best practices for AWS.
• Promoting and supporting DevOps ways of working across the organization.
• Collaborating with developers to ensure services are secure, scalable, and optimized.
• Improving and managing our CI/CD environment, where we strive for full automation from code to production.
• Writing tutorials and documentation to help teams follow internal policies and best practices.
• Acting as a spokesperson for developer tools and resources, promoting consistency and efficiency in development.
• Working closely with architects to define and set policies and guidelines for our developers.
• Serving as a support function to enhance the developer experience.

On a Personal Level

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong communication skills and enjoys sharing knowledge - both verbally and in writing.
• Brings collaboration, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset to the team.
• Believes in an Infrastructure as Code approach - everything should be version-controlled and repeatable.
• Is fluent in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Go, Python, or JavaScript) and open to working across different tech stacks.
• Has solid experience with AWS.
• Has hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions (or similar).
