About the position
As a New Customer Manager, you will drive the work of actively engaging with the real estate market within the warehouse and logistics segment, identifying new tenants and creating new real estate deals. You will build strong networks, understand customers' future needs, and lay the foundation for collaborations that benefit all parties. In this role, you will be a key player in Catena's business development and work closely with the Business and Project Manager and other teams to ensure that new units are created and that the business develops into long-term and sustainable relationships.
The position is based in the Stockholm office, and you will report to the company's Business and Project Manager, Adam Ljungviken (formerly Ekdahl). The property portfolio is spread across the region, and business is primarily conducted in the customer's daily operations, which means travel is required.
In your role as New Customer Manager, you will mainly work with the following tasks:
- Proactively work with leasing existing properties and selling new projects within Catena's land areas – both to existing tenants and potential new customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within Region East – the primary market is Stockholm and Mälardalen
- Actively seek and process leads and ensure smooth handover to the right function in the organization
- Collaborate with internal functions to develop offerings and solutions that meet the customer's future needs
- Represent Catena at fairs such as business arena, mipim, and other networking events and industry gatherings
About you
We believe you are a self-driven and business-oriented person motivated by building relationships and creating growth. You build trust, have strong communication skills, and are skilled at understanding both the customer's business and our opportunities to create value.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- High school education, preferably supplemented with post-secondary studies, but this is not a requirement
- At least 5 years of documented experience in new customer sales, business development, or customer responsibility, preferably within the real estate or logistics industry. You may also have worked as a sales manager or Key Account Manager, preferably selling products within the warehouse and industrial sectors
- A very strong business sense and the ability to work goal-oriented
- The ability to build trust and develop long-term relationships
- A structured approach to work and self-drive
- Driver's license (B)
It is advantageous if you have experience in:
- Commercial properties, logistics solutions, or related industries.

Region East in brief
The region consists (Q2-2025) of 48 properties and covers approximately 865,000 square meters. The property value amounts to approximately 13 billion SEK, with an economic occupancy rate of about 96%. The contracted annual rent amounts to approximately 800 million SEK. In the region, several property teams work with different competencies, including commercial and technical managers, operations technicians, project managers, and sustainability coordinators.
