We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Leader to join our team in Components. The business unit within Hitachi Energy located in Ludvika, Sweden has responsibility for the production and sale of Hitachi Energy bushings and tap changers. Our customers are based in all regions in the world and for HVDC components, we are the main supplier.
The opportunity
As Continuous Improvement Leader, you will drive sustainable and transformational change across the extended Factory Value Chain. Your focus will be on advancing the Integrated Transformer Management System (ITM) and Continuous Improvement maturity, with measurable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost (SQDIC).
How you’ll make an impact
- Lead the Strategy Deployment process and support the Operations Center/Obeya approach.
- Champion a continuous improvement culture using lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Drive KPI optimization across SQDIC and integrate HSE and Quality systems into ITM.
- Manage and facilitate impactful cost-out and productivity improvement projects.
- Build organizational capability through training, coaching, and implementation of ITM tools and methods.
Your Background
- Strong communication, coaching, and training skills.
- Proven experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lean expert or certified in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Agile, or Scrum.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles.
- High-level English proficiency (B2 or above).
