About the Workplace

The Staffing for Children and Education (BBU) provides temporary positions ranging from one day to three months within preschools, schools, after-school programs, and high schools, as well as care and nursing homes in Örebro municipality. To work with BBU, you need to be able to cycle, take the bus, or have a B driver's license and a car to reach all our facilities. We are looking for someone who can and wants to work throughout the municipality, which may involve travel outside the urban area. We use the Medvind system where you, as a substitute, enter your availability to be booked for your shifts.

Qualifications

You are responsible, flexible, and engaged. It is important that you have a good and respectful attitude towards both colleagues and guests. You are proactive and can collaborate with others. You are a reliable person who can handle stressful situations. Communication and documentation are important parts of daily work, so you should have good knowledge of the Swedish language. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements

• you are at least 18 years old and have a chef's education, or a high school diploma and experience working in a kitchen
• Language testing may be applied as part of the recruitment process if you do not have a Swedish high school diploma or SVA03.
• you complete the application with grades that show you have the required educational level.
• you can substitute in all kitchens within Örebro municipality
• you must be able to work at least three days a week.

Meritorious

• B driver's license and access to a car
• experience working in a large kitchen
• experience preparing special diets
• experience with self-control/HCCP
