About Sweax

Sweax's core idea is to make life easier for our customers – whether it concerns housing associations, residents, or property owners. With a wide range of services and a modern, personal approach, we always focus on the customer and quality. Our goal is to create a safe and pleasant environment for everyone living and working in the properties we manage. We are proud of our ISO certifications for quality (9001) and environment (14001), which reflect our commitment to sustainability in practice. As a result of our strong culture and community, we are also proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work. This is a testament to our employees' satisfaction, security, and engagement – every day.

About the role

As a technical manager at Sweax, you will have overall responsibility for a number of customer agreements – primarily with housing associations – where you act as the board's extended arm. You ensure the technical status of the property by controlling operations, maintenance needs, and various types of member issues. In addition to contractual points, you also respond to incoming fault reports and cases and assist the property service team on-site with your expertise. You will have assignments in both Stockholm and Uppsala, based at our office in Märsta where you will work approximately three days a week. The remaining time, about two days a week, you will be on-site with customers or in projects in Uppsala.

The role combines strategic responsibility with operational work. You will drive your assignments independently and have delivery responsibility for your customer agreements – you will work alongside other technical managers and be part of a committed and close-knit team where we support each other and help out.

Your main tasks:
  • Be responsible for the technical delivery to your customers and be their advisor on property issues

  • Be the board's support and ensure that the property owner's responsibilities are met

  • Establish and follow up maintenance plans, costs, and regulatory inspections

  • Lead and quality assure contracts, projects, and technical measures

  • Work on operational optimization, energy efficiency, and consumption follow-up

  • Handle insurance cases, disturbances, and technical questions

  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and participate in management meetings

  • Support colleagues in technical matters, e.g., during warranty inspections or new construction

We are looking for someone who:
  • Has several years of experience in technical management or a similar role in the property industry, preferably from a larger organization

  • Is accustomed to working with housing associations

  • Is used to working independently but appreciates collaboration

  • Enjoys taking responsibility and wants to help develop both the delivery and the relationship with the customer

  • Has experience in property technology and systems in properties, building technical knowledge, experience in energy optimization in properties, understanding of property economics, and experience in maintenance planning.

  • Holds a B driver's license and is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is a merit if you also have:
  • Experience working with rental properties

  • Practical experience in property management

  • Experience and training to manage larger and smaller projects from procurement to final inspection

  • Experience in board work in housing associations.

We offer you:
  • An important role in a growing company with short decision-making paths and significant impact

  • An open and unpretentious culture where you can help shape both work methods and customer relationships

  • A secure employer with collective agreements, wellness benefits, and joint activities

  • Offices in both Stockholm (your base) and Uppsala – you will work in both cities

Application

The recruitment is conducted in collaboration with UrbanUrban. If you have questions about the role, you are warmly welcome to contact Frida Kask Rosén at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]).

We interview continuously – so please send in your application as soon as possible.
