The Role of Product Developer

As a product developer, you will work closely with the product team throughout the production chain.

Your main responsibility is to ensure that the daily operational work around the product development process continues smoothly and to maintain ongoing dialogue with our suppliers in Europe and Asia regarding the products you are responsible for.

This includes, for example, preparing and sending Tech Packs for the products you are responsible for, as well as creating size charts, grading different sizes (men's, women's, and junior), measuring garments after fitting, and sending comments to the supplier. The position also includes ensuring that the established production schedule is adhered to for the products you are responsible for.

In addition, the role also involves conducting in-house tests and approving lab dips and accessories. You will also work on:

• Creating Tech Packs and technical descriptions of the products in our business system PISA, including material compositions, detail sketches, as well as size charts and gradings.
• Measuring products, commenting on products, and making size adjustments on the products.
• Ensuring that our quality procedures are followed throughout the production chain.
• Testing our fabrics and garments in our in-house team.
• Being proficient in our design program Illustrator and being able to make garment changes and size sketches quickly and efficiently.
• Daily contact with our suppliers in Asia and Europe.

Who Are You?

We believe you have a few years of experience from similar tasks within the fashion and/or sports industry and are proficient in Illustrator to make minor sketch changes and technical descriptions of our garments. Furthermore, you have solid knowledge of size charts, grading, and fit. Experience working as a pattern maker is an advantage for us.

As a person, you are both communicative and structured in your way of working and identify with our values based on “ownership”, “communication”, “teamwork”, and “winners”. All to promote a culture that simply means “We make things happen”.

In addition, you are fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of the Office suite. We also see that knowledge of PISA is an advantage for the position.

Conditions

The position is located at our office in Sörred, Gothenburg, but there may also be travel to our headquarters in Grebbestad as needed. Additionally, there may also be opportunities for international travel both within Europe and to Asia. You will report to the Head of Design & Product Development.

The position is a permanent employment at 100% starting with a 6-month probation period.

We may perform a credit check as well as a criminal record check on the applicant.
