Svalöv Parish is looking for a seasonal cemetery worker starting on March 1, 2025.

In Svalöv Parish, there are 9 churches with associated cemeteries. Currently, eight church caretakers and four seasonal cemetery workers are employed, one of whom has retired and needs to be replaced.

About the position

As a Cemetery Worker, you will help keep our cemeteries beautiful and well-maintained. Your daily tasks will mainly involve green space maintenance such as weeding graves and paths, caring for flower beds, mowing, trimming grass, planting, and hedge trimming.

To fit into our wonderful team, you should be positive and able to meet people in both joy and sorrow. Since the work is outdoors and in all weather conditions, good physical fitness is required. As a seasonal cemetery worker, you will support the teams at the cemetery where the need is currently greatest.

We are looking for someone who enjoys variety and can easily collaborate with different types of people. Independent work occurs, so initiative is important.

A valid driver's license (B) and access to a personal vehicle are required. Previous experience and/or education in gardening is highly desirable. We place the greatest importance on personal suitability.
