We are currently looking for trainees for our asphalt and paving operations. Peab Asfalt AB is a subsidiary of the Peab Group and is one of the largest specialized paving companies in the Nordic region, manufacturing and laying hot, warm, and cold asphalt for both private and public sector customers. Peab Asfalt has road laboratories for on-site asphalt sampling and concrete testing. We invest significant resources in the development of materials and processes and participate in both national and international research and development projects. Program Structure
Peab's Trainee Program starts in August 2024 and lasts for one year. The goal is for you to gain fundamental knowledge and experience in the industry in preparation for your future career as a leader within the largest construction and civil engineering company in the Nordic region, and to continue in a supervisory role after completing the program, progressing to new production leadership roles with greater responsibility.

During the program, we offer you a salary, leadership training, business-specific training, networking, rotation to other parts of the business, and a permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period.
 

Who are you?

• We are looking for recent graduates (or graduates with a degree that is a maximum of 1 year old) in civil engineering with a focus on construction, rock/material technology, or another relevant area (120 credits or 180 credits).
• You hold a B driver's license and are responsible for getting to the workplace. This means you may need access to your own car at times.
• Our corporate language is Swedish, and it is important that you both understand and can communicate effectively in both spoken and written form.

In your application, we would like you to attach your personal letter and CV. We want it to be clear in your personal letter:

• What flexibility you have to travel to varying workplaces that may be located some distance from urban areas. (This does not apply to all operations, but for certain parts of the business, it is a requirement.)
• What opportunities you have to stay overnight in other locations during the week. (This does not apply to all operations, but for certain parts of the business, it is a requirement.)
