Job Responsibilities

As an operations technician, we can offer you a fast-paced environment with exciting tasks where you have significant responsibility for maintaining and developing today's and tomorrow's networks. With us, you have the freedom to manage your workday and make independent decisions. To thrive in this role, you need to appreciate a varied workday, where a large part of the work takes place outdoors in traffic areas and often under time pressure.

Your main job responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing water meter replacements for property owners.
• Operation, maintenance, and optimization of the network.
• Administrative tasks, such as planning, following up, and reporting your work.
• Frequent contact with customers to ensure good service.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with appropriate water technology or plumbing education and/or work experience in water and sewage and/or construction. A B driver's license is required for the position, as well as a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Furthermore, we consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience and education in leak detection.
• Experience from water and sewage networks, district heating, or equivalent.

The Technical and Leisure Administration is responsible for the municipality's technical and leisure activities. The administration consists of the units Property, Leisure, Street/Park, and Water and Sewage (VA), as well as an Administration Staff. Property handles construction and maintenance of the municipality's premises, Leisure is responsible for recreational facilities and support for associations, Street/Park manages streets, roads, and parks, while VA is responsible for drinking water and sewage. The Staff handles finance, personnel, and other administration.
