The Technical Division operates independently and consists of five areas: Street/Park/Harbor, Nyköping Water, Waste Management, Municipal Properties, and Meal Services. These are supported by a project department, an economics department, and an administrative staff. Approximately 400 employees work in the division, which has an annual turnover of over 1 billion SEK. Our clients are the Municipal Executive Board, the Environmental and Community Planning Committee, and the Culture and Leisure Committee.

The Street, Park, Harbor section within the Technical Division is responsible for the operation and maintenance of streets, parks, and Nyköping Harbor on behalf of the Building and Technical Committee, as well as certain recreational facilities on behalf of the Culture and Leisure Committee. The operation ensures that Nyköping has a functional and safe road system that meets the needs of traffic safety, security, and accessibility. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Street/Park/Harbor is looking for two dedicated individuals for seasonal employment from April to October to work on cleaning and maintenance of streets, parks, and green areas.

The results of your work are highly appreciated by the municipality's residents and are an important part of keeping our city clean and tidy. You will ensure that the municipality's areas are well-maintained and clean. Your tasks will include cleaning our streets, parks, and squares, as well as emptying trash bins to keep them free of litter. You may also need to handle deceased animals. The work is independent and requires a great sense of responsibility.

Some weekend work may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this job, we see that you are a social person who is good at collaborating. You enjoy physical and active work and appreciate the charm of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• must have a B driver's license as you will be driving a park vehicle to perform the job
• must understand and speak Swedish
