Åkerö Förvaltning AB operates from Åkerö Säteri, one of Södermanland's oldest manors, located on an island in Lake Yngaren, between Nyköping and Katrineholm. In addition to Åkerö Säteri, Ottekil Gård, located outside Björkvik in Katrineholm municipality, is also part of the management. Åkerö Förvaltning engages in integrated pig production, young cattle breeding, beef production, broiler production, crop cultivation, forestry, and property management.

We are looking for a Farm Manager for our crop cultivation

Do you want to take responsibility for crop cultivation in a modern and efficient agricultural company? We are now looking for a farm manager for our conventional crop cultivation, covering approximately 1100 hectares. Everything we produce is used as animal feed in our own operations, which means that grain and forage crops are the focus. We work with a modern and efficient machinery fleet.

About the role

As a farm manager, you will have a varied and responsible job where you both lead and actively participate in daily activities. You will, among other things:

· Plan and implement the crop cultivation year.

· Supervise the team and participate in practical work.

· Maintain contact with advisors, machinery stations, workshops, and other partners.

· Collaborate closely with the company's CEO and other management positions regarding planning of feed, straw, etc.

We are looking for someone who:

· Has previous work experience in agriculture and crop cultivation.

· Is responsible and driven, with the ability to take initiative and work solution-oriented.

· Is a good leader, who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate with different people.

We place great importance on the right personality, where the right person is given the opportunity to grow further in the position and broaden their area of responsibility within other parts of the business.

· Good knowledge of Swedish and basic English in speech and writing.

Preferred qualifications include:

· Spraying certificate

· Experience in team leadership
