We are looking for a business-driven Contract Manager who takes overall responsibility for our customer and supplier agreements throughout their lifecycle – from the bidding phase and negotiation to contract management, change management, and closure. The role is central to ensuring profitability, regulatory compliance, and delivery precision in our assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure quality of contracts in the bidding/procurement phase: requirement analysis, risk assessment, negotiation strategy, and contract terms.
  • Contract management during execution: monitoring of KPIs, commercial issues, price adjustments, and invoicing flows.
  • Change and additional work (ÄTA) / change orders: structure, traceability, approvals.
  • Drive risk and claim management: deviations, time extensions, obstacles/force majeure, dispute resolution.
  • Support project/delivery teams in interpreting standard contracts (AB/ABT/ABK, FIDIC, NEC, etc.).
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, competition and procurement regulations such as LOU/LUF where relevant).
  • Negotiate with customers, partners, and suppliers; collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and sales.
  • Develop templates, processes, and training for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

Qualifications (must)

  • 3–7+ years of experience in Contract Management, commercial project management, or procurement in a private/public environment.
  • Good knowledge of contract law and commercial terms; documented negotiation experience.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: AB/ABT/ABK, FIDIC, NEC, or equivalent standards.
  • Strong ability to analyze risk, revenue and cost drivers, and write clear contract texts.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good system skills (MS Office/365, SharePoint); experience with CLM/ERP is a plus.

Meritorious

  • Industry experience from infrastructure/construction, energy/industry, IT/telecom, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with public procurement (e.g., Mercell Tendsign) and/or supplier agreements according to LUK/LUF/LOU.
  • Legal or economic background; certifications in contract & commercial management (e.g., WorldCC) or project/portfolio (e.g., PMP/PMI-RMP).

  • Business-oriented, structured, and proactive with high integrity.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, accustomed to influencing without formal mandate.

  • Thrives in environments with many stakeholders and can balance risk, quality, and time.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in law, economics, industrial economics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
