About the position 

Transdev in Umeå is looking for both permanent and on-call bus drivers. Start date September 2025 

Responsibilities 

Drive the bus in scheduled traffic. Ensure that safety on the bus is maintained according to routines, laws, and regulations. Operate the vehicle according to traffic laws. Greet and welcome passengers aboard the bus. Report disturbances and deviations to traffic management. Keep the bus intact and clean by reporting vehicle faults and damages. 

Qualifications 

Possess a valid D driving license. 

Have a valid Professional Competence Certificate (YKB)** 

Have a driver card for digital tachograph according to the Transport Agency. 

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. 

**Do you lack YKB? Apply anyway! We can offer you training. 

Important for the role of bus driver is also your driving ability. You are a skilled driver who operates the vehicle in a safe and secure manner with environmental considerations in mind. You are responsible and can maintain calm even in stressful traffic and customer situations. You focus on the customer and want to deliver high quality.
